What do you FEEL is baseball's biggest rivalry??
Yankees / Red Sox Cubs / Brewers Cubs / Cardnails Giants / Dodgers
Or something else??
I personaly think its the Yankees / Red Sox.. I love how they not only battle on the field but also battle in the front office trying to outbid one another on free agents?
Cubs / Cards is my favorite though as Im A DIEHARD CHICAGO CUB FAN...

Yankees/Red Sox Your Cubbies need to get better against my Cards and then it would be up there The other two you mentioned aren't even close to those two. I wonder if Nats/Pirates could EVER become a big rivalry like it is in other sports. Maybe in 20 years?

Nats / Pirates definatly a long way off from that lol. BUT I like how the Pirates have indicated they wont shy away from top talent in the draft anymore due to money concerns. They were aggressive with Pedro Alvarez and got him locked up, finally!! He will be their new face of the franchise in short order..
Also I actually like the Nats, I think in due time they will field a very competitive team, I know it looks like that wont happen anytime soon and it wont, but they will get it going.
They need a new GM first...
They do have some money to spend this offseason, maybe they lure Mark Teixera? Probably not as I think the Yankees or Angels will land him..

Agreed on Teixeira... but that is the next great rivalry... say 3009?
I do like the way the Nats have gone about getting young players. They buy them cheap when they are near bust with the idea they still have huge upside lurking. Sooner or later they will hit the jackpot. Milledge?
